We’re always thinking of new ways to make banking easier. That’s why we've developed new products and services that remove the pain from everyday banking.

Accounts with other banks
If you have current accounts at other selected UK banks, we're making it easier for you to view your balances and transactions within the new 'Accounts with other banks' feature in the Royal Bank app. That means:
- no more searching here, there and everywhere to keep track of your money
- no faffing about with multiple log-ins
- simple on-screen instructions for easy set-up
This functionality is currently only available in the iOS app. We're working hard to make it available to customers using Android devices as soon as possible.

Make paperwork a thing of the past
Ours is the first ever paperless mortgage application. This makes the whole application process simpler and more streamlined. Whether you apply online, in a branch or over the phone, that means you can:
- upload all your documents and sign without leaving the house
- get a decision after days rather than weeks (up to 11 days quicker)
- save an average of 66 pieces of paper with your application (over 3 million sheets of paper have been saved so far)

Controlling your card from your phone
Credit cards like to play hide and seek. That's why we help you lock and unlock your card with a simple tap of the app. You can also control additional cards on your account - perfect for managing the family budget. You can also control your card by:
- managing your spend with daily or monthly budget alerts
- telling us about your travel plans
- adjusting your credit limit
