How to get £200
1. Open a current account and switch to us
- Apply for a Select or Reward account and request and complete a full switch to us from another bank using the Current Account Switch Service.
2. Within 60 days of switching
- Pay in £1,250 - This can be made of multiple payments and must remain in the account for 24 hours.
- Log in to our mobile app - This can be done on any device that supports the Royal Bank mobile banking app.
3. You're all set
- When you've met these conditions, we'll pay £200 into your eligible account within 30 days.

You won’t be eligible if you or anyone on the account has previously received a NatWest Group cash switch incentive, or if you’re switching an account from NatWest Group (NatWest or Ulster Bank). App available to customers aged 11+ with compatible iOS and Android devices and a UK or international mobile number in specific countries.
Step 1
We will get in touch with your bank to start the switch. You’ll be kept up to date throughout.
Step 2
Your old account will be closed. All funds, and any payments will be moved to your new Royal Bank account.
Step 3
You’re all done and the switch is complete.
- This service is only available to switch Current Accounts. Any other products you have with your old bank won't be moved at the same time.
- Over 50 UK banks and building societies have signed-up to the Current Account Switch Service. You can check if your existing bank provider is a participant.

- You won't be eligible for our switching incentives if your old bank isn't part of the Current Account Switch Service.
- Direct Debits and Standing Orders won’t appear on your account until the first payment has been taken.
