Your eligibility is the combination of your credit score, and the details you give us. That's why it's important to answer the questions as accurately as you can. Doing so will make your result more reliable, too.

How we calculate your eligibility
Before you begin
Your overdraft eligibility is an estimate we provide you as an individual, and it's based on the information you give us. This means we can't guarantee you'll be offered an overdraft amount, or at all.
The soft credit check is just an initial look at your financial situation, so it won't affect your credit rating at all. You'll see the search if you check your credit file, but lenders won't.
Your score is only valid at this time and if your circumstances change your likelihood of acceptance may be affected.
If you decide to apply for an overdraft, that's when we run a full credit check. This is a full analysis of your credit history and, unlike the soft check, it'll be visible on your credit report.
If you're eligible for an Overdraft and for what amount depends on the results of the full credit check.
