MyRewards terms and exclusions

1. Supermarket offer on your Reward credit card or Reward Black credit card

Reward Black Credit Card: 1% Rewards on all supermarket purchases on your Reward Black credit card (0.5% Rewards at supermarket petrol stations)

Reward Credit Card: 1% Rewards on all supermarket purchases on your Reward credit card (0.25% Rewards at supermarket petrol stations)

Supermarkets will include, but are not limited to, Asda, Iceland, Marks & Spencer, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, ALDI, LIDL, Tesco, The Co-operative and Waitrose. Purchases made at supermarkets will be identified by Royal Bank of Scotland through the supermarket Merchant Category Codes 5411 and 5499. Merchant Category Codes are industry categories which classify a business by the type of goods or services it provides

Purchases at supermarket petrol stations will attract the following rewards under the all spend offer from Royal Bank of Scotland:

• Reward Black Credit Card - 0.5% Rewards
• Reward Credit Card – 0.25% Rewards

Please note that this offer is being offered to you directly from Royal Bank of Scotland and is not in any way endorsed, sponsored, sold or promoted by any of the supermarkets referenced or otherwise implemented with any of the stated supermarkets.

2. All other spend on your Reward credit card or Reward Black credit card

• Reward Credit Card: 0.25% Rewards on all other spend (excluding MyRewards retailers and supermarket spend)
• Reward Black Credit Card: 0.5% Rewards on all other spend (excluding MyRewards retailers and supermarket spend)

The Reward credit card and the Reward Black credit card will offer the following Rewards:

• Reward Black Credit Card 0.5% on all purchases made in line with the MyRewards terms
• Reward Credit Card 0.25% on all purchases made in line with the MyRewards terms

The above Rewards will not be given in addition to any Rewards for purchases made at:

• MyRewards retailers; or
• Supermarkets defined under Merchant Category Codes 5411 and 5499

There are some payments where you'll not be able to earn Rewards

Purchases using your Royal Bank debit card, Reward credit card or Reward Black credit card which include:

• purchases that are specifically excluded from earning Rewards by the partner (you can see full details through Digital or mobile banking)
• purchases which are for business purposes
• repaying borrowing and all bill payments, including credit card and store card bill payments
• payment of fines and bail
• purchase (including topping up) of payment cards, vouchers or foreign currency or travellers cheques
• gambling transactions (including a payment to a merchant we identify as being in the business of gambling, even if not for a bet)
• Royal Bank of Scotland interest, fees or charges
• balance transfers where we pay your debt to another financial institution and charge it to your credit card

• Boosted Rewards can be identified by the rocket icon displayed on each partner retailer earn tile within MyRewards
• You will earn Boosted Rewards when you spend at selected times with a MyRewards partner retailer
• You will see the selected times on each partner retailer earn offer tile within MyRewards when Boosted Rewards are available
• If you spend outside of the selected times, you’ll receive the standard earn offer rate of Rewards for that partner retailer
• MyRewards partner retailer offers including Boosted Rewards are customer level, if you have a joint account, you may each see different offers and rates
• You’ll earn Boosted Rewards on transactions made when using a debit card linked to your MyRewards account
• You won’t earn Boosted Rewards on transactions made with a credit card linked to your MyRewards account
• Boosted Rewards are earned and can be used in the same way standard Rewards.  All references to Rewards in the MyRewards Terms include Boosted Rewards
