What is a CVV (Card Verification Value) number?
The CVV Number on a credit card or debit card is a 3 digit code on VISA, MasterCard and Discover branded credit and debit cards, and a 4 digit code on American Express credit and debit cards.
CVV numbers are not your PIN. You should never enter your PIN number when asked to provide a CVV number.
The CVV Number can be found on the signature strip on the back of your card.
