What identification (ID) do I need to carry out a transaction in a branch?
The normal ID requirements for transactions in a branch are as follows:
Transactions up to £1000.00*
- Debit Card and PIN identification
Transactions over £1000.00*
Transactions over £1000.00 require one item of secondary ID from the following:
- Full Passport
- Current EU/UK Photo card Driving Licence (Full)
- Armed Forces ID
- Biometric Residence Permit
- National ID Card - (for EU Nationals only)- IMPORTANT - Romanian National ID cards are not currently accepted
*Please note: This is a minimum level - the limit may vary as part of our fraud prevention activities. CHAPS and international payments always require secondary ID.
