How do I add a new Digital Banking payee?

A new payee will be automatically added to your list of payees after you have successfully made or scheduled your first payment via 'Pay someone new'.

To do this, you will need your mobile app if you are registered for Biometrics or a card-reader and card.

  1. Select 'Payments and transfers' from the main menu to take you to the Payments and transfers landing page
  2. Choose the account you want to make the payment from using the account picker
  3. Select 'Pay someone new' under 'Select who to pay'
  4. Follow the instructions on screen until you reach the confirmation page which will let you know that your payment is complete or scheduled
  5. You will then be able to view the payee details through 'Manage Payees'

Please note: If you add the payee through telephone banking you will be asked to confirm the payee details using your card-reader before you can make payments to that payee using Digital Banking.
