Our bereavement service team are who you should contact initially to inform us of a bereavement, they'll talk you through what we'll do to help and arrange an appointment at a branch for you to talk to someone about the deceased's bank account(s) and banking arrangements with us. The estate administration service administer estates where Royal Bank of Scotland is the executor of the will and also offer a service to help you deal with the deceased's estate where there are other executors named in the will or there is no will. We will take away the work and pressure from you and manage the administration of the estate on your behalf. Please note there is a fee for the estate administration service.
