How much can I send using Pay Your Contacts?

If you are aged 16+, all you need is their mobile phone number, you do not need to be registered to send money by Pay Your Contacts and the recipient doesn't need to bank with Royal Bank of Scotland.

If the recipient doesn’t bank with us or isn’t registered for Pay Your Contacts, you can send them a secure payment link via multiple messaging channels such as WhatsApp, SMS or e-mail. The daily Pay Your Contacts limit is £250 or 20 payments a day.

If you are aged 13-15 you can send up to £30 a day via Pay Your Contacts.
