What is an Digital Banking activation code?

You'll need an Digital Banking activation code when you register or re-register for Digital Banking. It's used to generate or reset your security number and password for your online access.

We'll send your activation code by text message if you have a valid mobile number, or by post if you don’t have one on file. You should receive a text message immediately, which is valid for 20 minutes. Or if it’s sent by post it should arrive in 3 working days, and will be valid for 45 days from the date on the letter.
