What’s new in Bankline? Latest features and tips

Welcome to the latest edition of our ‘What’s New?’ blog series! This series will introduce you to all the latest features, provide further support, and some tips to help you get the most out of Bankline.

Customise How You Receive Your Bankline Documents

We’ve improved how you receive your account documents. You can now view and download digital copies directly in Bankline, keeping everything in one secure place.

You can also choose to stop receiving paper documents for domestic and third-party accounts. 

 

What can I manage?  

  • Postal statement preferences
  • Statement downloads dating back to July 2023 

 

What privileges will I need for this?

You’ll need the ‘Manage paperless preference’ privilege to amend your paperless preferences. Paperless preferences cannot be amended for currency accounts, external accounts, or accounts that currently have documentation suppressed.

 

How does this benefit me? 

  • Instant Alerts - Get notified by email as soon as a new document is available — no need to log in and check manually.
  • Digital Convenience - Download and use digital copies of your statements anytime, anywhere—no more waiting for paper versions.

Export Transactions From Multiple Accounts

We’ve made it easier to manage your transaction data across multiple accounts. You can now export up to 100,000 transactions in one go—no need to run separate exports for each account.

By using Advanced Search, you can filter and export large volumes of transactions quickly and efficiently, saving you time and simplifying your workflow.

  • Save time – no need for separate exports per account
  • See the bigger picture – analyse all your data in one file

How do I search for transactions across multiple accounts?

Connect Your Royal Bank Services

We’ve expanded the list of products you can connect with Bankline. You can now link your accounts with Facflow, Trade360, Agile Markets, Clearspend, and Lombard!

All connected services are accessible from the Bankline launchpad, so there’s no need to log in to each platform separately.

If your Agile Markets account is connected, you can also view and manage your pre-booked deals directly in Bankline—making it easier to stay on top of your transactions.

 

What privileges are required? 

None. Services available for connection will only be displayed if you are already subscribed to them.

  • Seamless integration and a streamlined experience - spend less time juggling multiple login details. 
  • Effortless navigation and enhanced efficiency - simplify complex tasks by easily moving between Bankline and your connected services, saving you time and effort.

Changes Coming To Original Bankline in November 2025

Starting November 2025, some payment features in the original version of Bankline will be removed. If you're still using the original platform, you’ll see in-app messages to guide you through these changes.

Only features that are already available in the new Bankline will be switched off—so you won’t lose access to any functionality.

We’re continuing to enhance payment features and improve the Bankline experience throughout 2025 and into 2026.
