Digital Banking

The application form you are about to complete is for personal customers or sole traders. If you are a business customer please download and print off the appropriate application form.

Our simple online application takes around 5 minutes to complete

You only need the following details:

  • Personal details
  • Bank account OR credit card account details

(RBS credit card only customers: If your only account with us is a credit card, we will require you to enter your current credit limit, this can be found on your latest statement.)

Students please note:

When you are asked to enter your address, please ensure that you enter your permanent residential address (typically your parental address) rather than your term-time address. This will help us to verify you and consequently to process your request more quickly.

Overseas students should note that activation details will be posted to your permanent residential address overseas.

You must be 16 or over and have an existing UK based RBS Current or Savings account or RBS Credit Card.
