Tailoring Bankline to reflect your business's preferences
Bankline lets you tailor the way you control your day-to-day finances - simply set it up to reflect your company's structure and procedures.
Control user access
There is no limit to the number of users in your business who can access Bankline.
Simply control users' access by assigning 'roles' that limit the functions a user can and cannot perform. These roles include access to individual accounts and authorisation of payments.
Your Bankline service provides a number of master roles that reflect common business processes, but you can also create and maintain your own customised roles, and set authorisation limits for each user.
It is even possible to set up a Dual Administration system, where a second independent user must authorise any actions, such as payments.
Export data
You can export account information from Bankline enabling you to manipulate it into a more convenient format, or use it in other applications.
At the moment, data can be exported in CSV (Comma Separated Variable) and PDF (Portable Document Format) file formats, although future releases will see other file formats - such as SWIFT MT940 - introduced.
Audit records
Actions taken and changes made by individual Bankline users are in an audit log that administrators can view in the event of a query or investigation.
Any actions or changes undertaken by the Bank on your instruction are also recorded in the log.
Once you start using Bankline, your balance and transaction data will be stored, and eventually you can access up to 15 months' data online.
We will store audit information for seven years (subject to terms and conditions).
