What is NatWest Rooster Money?

NatWest Rooster Money is a parent managed pocket money app for kids aged 3-17. Choose from 2 different products:

  • Virtual money tracker: for keeping an eye on spending for free. Eligibility criteria apply. 
  • Rooster Card: a card for kids aged 6-17. Free  subscription if a parent is a Royal Bank customer. It’s usually £1.99 a month or £19.99 per year. Offer includes up to three cards. Other fees may apply. T&Cs apply (PDF, 100KB).

How does it work?

Get set up in the app

Sign up and download the Royal Bank Rooster Money app. Make sure you use your full name and you must have the latest version of the app which you can get or update from the app store.

Add your kids detail

Log in, select 'Add child' and fill in their details. 

Enjoy Rooster Card

If you are interested in the free Rooster Card subscription offer, follow the steps in the Rooster app to get a Rooster Card and connect your Royal Bank app  to receive up to 3 Rooster Cards for free for as long as you're a Royal Bank customer.
