What is NatWest Rooster Money?
NatWest Rooster Money is a parent managed pocket money app for kids aged up to 17. Choose from 2 different products:
- Virtual money tracker: for keeping an eye on spending for free. Eligibility criteria apply.
- Rooster Card: a pre-paid debit card for kids aged six to 17. Free subscription if a parent is a Royal Bank customer. It’s usually £1.99 a month or £19.99 per year. Offer includes up to three cards. Other fees may apply. T&Cs apply (PDF, 100KB)
To be eligible for the free Rooster Card subscription offer, you must be an existing Royal Bank customer, over 18, a UK resident, registered for either Mobile Banking or Digital Banking, and with child(ren) between the ages of 6 and 17.

How does it work?
- Get set up in the app - Sign up and download the NatWest Rooster Money app. Make sure you use your full name and you must have the latest version of the app which you can get or update from the app store.
- Add your kids details - Log in, select 'Add child' and fill in their details.
- Enjoy Rooster Card - If you are interested in the free Rooster Card subscription offer, follow the steps in the Rooster app to get a Rooster Card and connect your Royal Bank app to recieve up to 3 Rooster Cards for free for as long as you're a Royal Bank customer.
