You need to be a UK resident for tax purposes - and you have to be over 18 if you are applying for credit facilities.

You must also be attending (or have been offered a place at) a UK education institution lasting at least two years (one year for postgraduates).

The list of eligible courses is:

  • First undergraduate course
  • Higher National Certificate (HNC)
  • Higher National Diploma (HND)
  • Nursing training course
  • Post-graduate course (MSc, MA, Phd, etc)
  • Equivalent National Vocational Qualification levels 4 or 5 (NVQs)
