If you are an existing RBS current account customer then that is great news as you could apply for our Classic Card online today and take advantage of our great low rate on purchases.

You must provide your RBS account number and sort code within the application, be aged 18 or over and earning at least £10,000.

If you are an existing RBS current account customer and you already have an RBS Credit Card, you can still apply for the RBS Classic Card, but please note that transfers from other Royal Bank of Scotland Group cards are not permitted.

  Check your balance whenever it suits - and pay your balance from almost any computer - PC or Apple Mac.
• Pay by Direct Debit
  Why worry about late payments? You can settle the balance in full or make the minimum payment. However, we don’t recommend that you only ever make your minimum payment.
• Flexible credit limits
  Need a little bit of breathing space for your finances? After six months you can ask us to review your credit limit.
• Money transfers by phone
  Transfer money from your Classic Credit Card to any UK bank account. The minimum is £250 - and you just pay the usual purchase rate from the date of the transfer. Please refer to our rates and fees for further details

• Purchases and balance transfers
  Pay a low rate of just 4.9% p.a. on all your purchases for a whole nine months from account opening.

  We may end any introductory offer if you do not pay on time or stay within your credit limit

  Why not consolidate your existing debt into one easily manageable sum by transferring balances from your existing cards to your RBS Credit Card.

  You can transfer up to 95% of your credit limit so if your new card has a limit of £2,000 you could switch up to £1,900 of your existing balances.   If you pay the balance in full and on time and have paid the previous month's balance in full and on time.
• Daily cash advance
  Use your Classic Credit Card to get up to £300 each day (depending on your credit limit) from cash machines worldwide. Subject to a 3% handling fee with a minimum £3.00.
• No annual fee
• If you are a Royalties current account customer you are guaranteed a 1% discount on the standard typical APR for at least 12 months. Rates variable.
