14 Mar 2024 - Fraud Unmasked - A different perspective on fraud with the DCPCU

Fraud can happen to any business, together we can fight it.

It often seems like there is an endless list of threats and risks we have to contend with in business, but all too often fraud is often viewed as a low priority. This session is about addressing the reasons behind this and how fraud prevention in your business is a lot simpler when viewed through a very different lens.

Working within the collaborated City of London, Metropolitan Police and UK Finance Dedicated Card and Payment Crime Unit (DCPCU), Paul Maskall applies behavioural and psychological principles to the core of his work. Learn about online manipulation, good device usage and more, including.

  • An exploration into how culture, wellbeing and remote working impacts the risk.
  • Why we don’t take fraud that seriously, until it happens.
  • What considerations you could take in order to protect both your customers and business.
