Main Exclusions
- Costs at the garage or repairer – if Green Flag cannot fix your vehicle at the roadside you will be liable for the costs of repair.
- Roadside assistance - for European trips outside the UK, cover will not apply for vehicles over 10 years old at the beginning of the trip.
- Maximum claims - customers can only claim 5 times in any 12 months before a charge will be incurred for this service.

A. The cover is for all vehicles registered in your name at your address.

A. Yes. You’re both covered – for any car registered to you at the address we hold for your account.

A. As long as the car is registered to an account holder at the account address, you’re covered.

A. You don’t need a membership number. When you call for assistance, Green Flag will know you have a Black Account.

A. You’ll be asked for your name and address, the vehicle details, the fault with the vehicle and your location.

A. Usually, there’s no limit.
However, if Green Flag arranges for temporary roadside repairs, you must carry out any permanent repairs that may be necessary as soon as possible. If you do not, and the same problem happens again, Green Flag may refuse service.
Green Flag operates a fair use policy. You can use the service at no cost up to five times in any 12 month period. You’ll have to pay for any additional callouts in the same period.

A. Green Flag guarantees to attend UK breakdowns within an hour. The average Green Flag callout time in the UK is less than 40 minutes. Callouts times in Europe may be longer.
If Green Flag keeps you waiting longer than an hour, you can claim £10 cashback by writing to Green Flag or completing a service questionnaire.

A. Anyone driving or travelling in the car with your permission can ring for assistance by calling Green Flag on 0845 266 8801, or on +44 (0) 125 230 8789 if they’re calling from outside the UK. Call charges may apply. Calls may be recorded. They will be asked to provide the name and address of the customer with the Black Account.
