For the first time ever, The Royal Bank of Scotland's Private Banking service unveils the Affordable Affluence Index; identifying the British towns and cities where the elements of an affluent lifestyle are on offer at the most affordable prices.

Wealth in Britain is on the rise. This means that successful people from head teachers to doctors and successful plumbers could now be interested in the services of a Private Banker. The aim of the Affordable Affluence Index is to show people around the country that a wealthy lifestyle is a great deal more accessible than many of us might realise.

The Affordable Affluence Index was conducted to underline developments to The Royal Bank of Scotland's Private Banking service, which is now open to all those who earn £100,000 or more a year.
