Do you regularly make and receive payments in a particular foreign currency or have surplus currency funds? A foreign currency account from The Royal Bank of Scotland could make your life a lot easier. Just ask for more information at your local branch.

If you've got a Royal Bank of Scotland Current Account or Credit Card, you can withdraw money from overseas cash machines. You can also make purchases and your RBS credit card is accepted at more than 24 million locations around the world. Just look out for the Cirrus, Maestro or MasterCard logos.

Online travel money

You can order your foreign currency travelers cheques and currency banknotes online, and get them commision free. There is 1% fee (min £3, max £25) for sterling travellers cheques

You simply pay by credit or debit card - then choose to have your travel money delivered to your local branch or the cardholder address

You can order up to 10 days before you require your currency

Place your order before 12 noon we'll deliver your travel money to the cardholder address the next working day or a later date of your choice. Deliveries to your local branch will be ready for you to collect from 1pm on the day you requested.

If you order on a Friday before 12 noon you can choose delivery/collection on Saturday or Monday or a later date of your choice. If you order after 12 noon on a Friday - or anytime Saturday or Sunday - then you can request delivery/collection no earlier than tuesday.

Travel money at your local branch

With our next-day service, you just need to order your money in one of our branches before 2pm, and it will be ready for you from 1pm on the next business day.

And if you place your order between 2pm and 3:30pm, you can still pick up your currency from the branch of your choice from 1pm the next business day. There's a £5 fee for this service.

If you need Euros and US dollars in a hurry, we can help. Many of our branches have pre-packaged amounts of €100, €500 or $200, so there's no need to order your travel money in advance.

Branch orders:

• Orders placed before 14.00 will be available for collection next working day after 13.00pm. Orders placed after 14.00 will be available next working day +1.
• All foreign currency and cheques are commission free, only sterling travellers cheques incur 1% commission.
• An emergency next day delivery service is available from 14.00-15.30 but this will incur an additional fee.

Telephone orders:

• To protect against fraud you must take your payment card and a passport or driving license to collect your order. If you do not have either the order cannot be issued.
• Home delivery orders for less than £500 will incur a delivery fee, branch delivery is free for all orders.
• To protect against fraud, there is a £2,500 order limit per 90 days. There is no such limit if you place your order in-branch.
• Orders placed before 12.00 will be delivered/available for collection by 13.00 the next working day. Orders placed after 12.00 will be next working day +1.
• Deliveries on a Saturday cannot be guaranteed i.e. if you place your order before 12.00 on a Friday it may arrive Saturday or Monday.
• Payment will be taken at point of order and once confirmed the order cannot be cancelled.
