Do you regularly make and receive payments in a particular foreign currency or have surplus currency funds? A foreign currency account from The Royal Bank of Scotland could make your life a lot easier. Just ask for more information at your local branch.

If you've got a Royal Bank of Scotland debit card or credit card, you can withdraw money from overseas cash machines. You can also make purchases at more than 24 million locations around the world. Just look out for one of the logos shown on your card.

We have a dedicated team of expert travel money operators ready to help. They can advise you on many aspects of your travel money needs such as the best currencies to take and whether travellers cheques may help. If you decide to order, the whole process is typically completed in under 5 minutes.

• All of our foreign currencies and foreign travellers cheques are commission free.

Place your order before 12 noon and we'll deliver your travel money the next working day or a later date of your choice. Orders placed after 12 noon take an extra day.

Deliveries to your local branch will be ready for you to collect from 1pm on the day you requested and home deliveries will arrive by 1pm.

Travel money at your local branch

Just visit your local branch to order from our wide currency range.

With our next-day service, you just need to order your money before 3pm, and it will be ready for you from 1pm on the next business day.

We also offer an emergency next day delivery service between 3pm and 3:30pm, so that you can still pick up your currency from from 1pm the next business day. There's a £5 fee for this service.

If you need Euros and US dollars in a hurry, we can help. Many of our branches have pre-packaged amounts of €100, €150, €500 or $200, so there's no need to order your travel money in advance.

For Branch orders:

Delivery Times:

• You can order up to 10 days in advance and specify the delivery day of your choice.
• Orders placed before 3pm can be available for collection no earlier than 1pm next working day.
• Orders placed after 3pm can be available for collection no earlier than 1pm next working day +1. ( This means that if you place an order after 2pm on Friday the earliest it can be with you is 1pm on Tuesday).

Charges:

• All our currencies and foreign travellers cheques are commission free, only sterling travellers cheques incur 1% commission ( min £3, max £50 )
• An emergency next day delivery service is available from 2pm -3.30pm but this will incur an additional fee of £5.

For Telephone and online orders:

Restrictions:

• To protect against fraud, you must take your payment card and a passport or driving license with you when collecting your order from our branches, if you do not bring either item the order cannot be issued to you.
• Also to protect against fraud, there is a £2,500 order limit in a 90 day period. There is no such limit if you place your order in-branch.

Charges:

• All our currencies and foreign travellers cheques are commission free, only sterling travellers cheques incur 1% commission ( min £3, max £25 )
• Home delivery orders for less than £500 will incur a delivery fee of £5, branch delivery is free for all orders.

Delivery Times:

• You can order up to 10 days in advance and choose a delivery date to suit you.
• Orders placed before 12 noon (online) and 2pm (telephone) can be delivered/available for collection no earlier than 1pm next working day.
• Orders placed after these times can be delivered/available for collection no earlier than 1pm next working day +1. ( This means that if you place an order after 12 noon on Friday the earliest it can be with you is 1pm on Tuesday).
• Saturday deliveries are available but cannot be guaranteed, i.e. if you request delivery for a Saturday it may arrive Saturday or Monday.
• Payment will be requested at the time you order (from a debit or credit card) and once the order has been finalised and processed it cannot be cancelled.
• We deliver Travel Money to registered payment card addresses within the UK only.

Royalties Accounts:

• If you have a Royalties Gold, Royalties Private or a Student or Graduate account, then you qualify for preferential exchange rates. To benefit you must order through your membership services telephone number (found in your benefits booklet).
