Apply for your Fixed Rate ISA

As an existing RBS customer:

  • If you want to pay into your ISA this tax year (2011/2012) and do not change any of your personal details during the application, your account will be opened straight away. If you do have to change any of your personal details during the application, it is possible that your ISA will not be open in time for the end of the tax year (5th April 2012).
  • Regardless you'll still be able to use your ISA in the new tax year (2012/2013 starting on 6th April 2012).

After applying you will receive an account number and sort code or an application reference:

  • If you receive an account number and sort code you can pay into your ISA straightaway using the account number and sort code details. Your account and any funds deposited will show in your online banking within 24 hours of your account being opened. Make the most of your ISA limit this tax year (2011/2012) by making sure you’ve paid in your money by midnight on the 5th of April 2012.
  • If you receive an application reference we will write to you regarding the final steps to set up your ISA. It is possible that your ISA won't be open until the 2012/2013 tax year.
