Critical illness insurance

The natural partner for your life insurance policy

If you already have life insurance, you are looking after your family should you die. But how would your finances cope if you suffered a critical illness which prevented you from working?

Critical Illness can be combined with your life insurance cover as an additional option and would provide cover should you suffer a critical illness such as certain cancers, heart attack or stroke.

What's covered?

Critical illness cover is designed to pay out a guaranteed cash lump sum if you either die or are diagnosed with a critical illness that meets our policy definition. We only cover the critical illnesses we define in our policy and no others.

  • Guaranteed cash sum - if you are diagnosed with any of the specified illnesses during the term
  • Flexibility - you can use the money for any purpose you like - perhaps to pay off all or part of your mortgage
  • Comprehensive cover - you are covered for 31 major illnesses or conditions, which include certain cancers, heart attack and stroke - which account for more than 84% of all claims
  • Choice of term - from 1 - 40 years, as long as the cover doesn't extend beyond your 75th birthday.

This policy is for UK residents aged 18-59.
