Relationships and knowledge are the foundation for everything we do. That is why you will regularly see us at conferences - we keep talking and keep listening.
Just some of the events we attend include conferences of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO) and the Community Development Finance Association (CDFA).

Wigmore Hall
"I would like to thank Julie Baker and the Charities and not for profit teams at RBS for their help, which has played an integral part in securing the future of Wigmore Hall."
Peter Jervis Deputy Director/Head of Finance and IT.
Operating Company - Central Hall, Westminster
"The team at The Royal Bank of Scotland demonstrated excellent team-work and tailored a package to meet our specific requirements, which took into account the fact that, during the works, we had very little income being generated."
"I am pleased with the works and the difference this will make to the operation of the organisation moving forward."
Michael Sharp, Managing Director
In 2006, The Royal Bank of Scotland gave c.£58m back to the community. But it's more than just the money.
Supporting employee volunteering
We actively encourage our people to get involved in volunteering and fundraising. For example, our Community Cashback scheme rewards staff who give their time, efforts and skills - with awards for their organisation ranging from £100 to £1,000.
Employee giving
Our double-matched payroll giving scheme is simple. For every £1 an employee gives through their pay slip, we add another £2 - up to a maximum RBS contribution of £200.
In total, this scheme raised £8.5m for 3,200 charities in 2005.
Sponsorship
When an employee embarks on a major fundraising event - such as a marathon or parachute jump - we give £500 to the organisation they're supporting.
Local schemes
From clearing a community garden, to renovating a playground through our Supergrounds scheme, the vast majority of our work takes place at a local level.
