At RBS we take online security very seriously. PayAway Direct is protected by a smartcard, smartcard reader and individual password for every authorised user.

This means you can digitally sign and secure your payment files – and that they can be validated when they’re received by Bacs.

Online and phone support

There’s no need for you to install the system. Our specialist teams will set up PayAway Direct and conduct on-site training for you and your staff.

If you need assistance, you’ll find user guides and on-screen help. If you need to talk to use about using the service, you can call the Helpdesk any time from 9am-9pm Monday to Friday (except bank and public holidays).
