Your Bankline service has been enhanced with the following features:
- Make same-day CHAPS payments
You can now make urgent payments on Bankline using CHAPS, the UK's electronic same-day settlement network for both commercial and inter-bank payments.
Note to Administrators:
You can give users access to CHAPS payments by assigning privileges to user roles.

Important Information
CHAPS Payment Fees
Fees for CHAPS payments will be based on the rate agreed with your Relationship Manager.
Cut-off Times
Cut-off times for submitting CHAPS payments are as follows:
- 15:50 - to beneficiary accounts held at other banks
- 18:15 - to beneficiary accounts held with your bank i.e. debit RBS account and credit RBS beneficiary/debit NatWest account and credit NatWest beneficiary
These cut-off times assume funds are available at the time of submission and that valid data is submitted with the payment instruction.
